Women in Engineering & IT UTS and Girl Geeks Sydney are joining together for a fun-filled evening of “building things”. In the geek world, we build software, hardware, Lego spaceships, and buildings, so we thought it would be awesome to pair up with UTS for a night of lightning tech talks and networking. Margaret Manning, one of very few female CEOs in the largely male-dominated digital industry and winner of the Stevie Award for Women in Business, is planning to speak with us.
Women in Engineering & IT UTS have provided a lovely mezzanine space within the university, full audio visual and comfy chairs, so all we need now is some cash or in-kind sponsorship towards food, drink, and name labels.
